Calf Stretch Standing

This is a self stretch to increase flexibility of the lower leg.

Body Parts Targeted: Isolated JointSplit Stance

Starting Position: Split Stance

Stand with the feet in a narrow split stance and keep the back leg straight.  Place the back foot only to the point where the heel does not lift off of the ground and there is a slight stretch felt in the lower leg.  Place your hands against the wall or a table as you maintain a stable spine and relax the lower back leg.
