Qualifies as Type I Continuing Education for PT/PTAs in Virginia

Those that participate will be eigible for 3 contact hours to be used towards CEUs.  

Objectives:

  • Expose health care and exercise professionals to an overview of movement screening and assessment
  • Introduction to the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), which were both created to foster a standard operating procedure regarding movement competency in exercise and rehabilitation.
  • Both systems will be outlined and research implocations will be discussed.
  • ***These sytems were presented as a keynote address at the last world conference on movement dysfunction and the subject of Gray's new book, Movement, Functional Movement Systems.***

Registration will be held afterwards for future certification courses and events
